Mentharil includes oil extracts of peppermint, rosemary, and thyme. Mentharil supports gastrointestinal tract function.  Peppermint soothes discomforts by smoothing the intestinal muscle.  Rosemary stimulates appetite and improves intestinal muscle tone, allowing food to be more easily absorbed.  Thyme helps relieve occasional gas.  An enteric-coated softgel is used because it allows the peppermint oil to move through the stomach to the small intestine and eventually to the colon, where it is released for optimal benefit.
