Vinpocetin
Natural Brain Energizer and Oxygenator
Vinpocetin is derived from vincamine, the major indole alkaloid in the
periwinkle plant. More than 100 studies have shown that vinpocetin
increases cerebral circulation (blood supply to the brain) AND improves
brain energy production (ATP) and oxygen use. The benefits of vinpocetin
are derived from these effects and include:

- hearing loss

Precautions: Adverse side-effects are rare and mild but may
include a brief drop in blood pressure or a faster heart rate. These
effects usually disappear with continued use of vinpocetin. Vinpocetine
has no known drug interactions, no toxicity, and is generally very safe.
Dose: 10mg, 3 times per day for one month or until desired
effects are achieved, then 10mg 1-3 times thereafter for maintenance.
