Product Description
EndoPlus is a liposomal oral spray containing theanine
and 5-HTP. This formula is designed to address neurotransmitter
over-stimulation and is used in patients with high catecholamine
turnover or increased GABA excretion. Because of the addition of 5-HTP,
this formula also helps correct low serotonin levels.
EndoPlus is used during the initial phase of neurotransmitter therapy to
reduce catecholamine excretion prior to beginning therapies that
increase excitatory neurotransmitters.

Explanation of
Ingredients
Theanine is an amino acid found in green tea. It has been widely
studied for its ability to provide a calming effect by modulating the
excretion of serotonin and catecholamines (epinephrine and NE) and
reducing the uptake of the stimulatory amino acid, glutamate.
Theanine also
protects nerve cells which are exposed to overstimulation. This may be
the reason for its ability to prevent brain damage in stroke patients.
L-5-HTP is the direct amino acid precursor to serotonin. Taken
sublingually, L-5-HTP is quickly crosses the blood/brain barrier and is
rapidly converted to serotonin.
