Dr. Dana Myatt is pleased to welcome the valued
addition of Dr. Jeff Braverman to the Wellness Club team of medical experts.
Dr. Myatt and Dr. Braverman will be combining the very best
of conventional and natural medicine in the treatment of
infertility.
Jeffrey Braverman, M.D., F.A.C.O.G is
currently the Medical Director of Braverman Immunologic and Reproductive Medical
Services.
He brings with him over 20 years of expertise in caring
and treating patients on Long Island with all types of
infertility. In a poll conducted by the Long Island Press he
was voted the BEST infertility specialist on Long Island.
He was the youngest student to be accepted to New York
University at the age of 14 and was honored at graduation
as the youngest to graduate the University when he was
17. After receiving his medical degree from the Mt. Sinai
School of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Braverman completed
his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine,
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Bronx. He
then established his private practice in Long Island and
has since personally overseen thousands of infertility
treatment cycles, both IVF and standard ovulation induction,
with an outstanding record of success.
Dr. Braverman
has been featured with his infertility patients on the
Learning Channel's Baby Story, Prevention magazine, numerous
radio shows, and local TV news stations (channel 10), as
well as the local Long Island newspapers.
He is on staff
at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, Long Island
where he performs hysteroscopic and laparoscopic
surgeries to correct underlying causes of female
infertility. Previously he held the position of Clinical
Instructor at North Shore University Hospital, Cornell
University Medical College, in Manhasset, Long Island.
He
has published many articles relating to pregnancy
complications such as Intrauterine Growth Restriction,
Gestational Diabetes as well as Fetal Distress. This
expertise has helped him to develop treatments for
immunologic and hematological causes of infertility, that
has also dramatically reduced the incidence of many of
these obstetrical complications that occur later in the
pregnancy. His ongoing research interests include
developing new treatments for those with recurrent
pregnancy loss ,improving ART protocols for poor responders,
treatment for Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome and expanding the
role of nutrition in the treatment and prevention of
infertility and reducing obstetrical complications.
Dr. Braverman is an active Fellow of the American
College of Obstetricians (ACOG), an active member in good
standing with the American Society of Reproductive Medicine,
and a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons,
the Nassau Country Medical
Society, the Nassau Academy of Medicine, and the National
Board of Medical Examiners. In his spare time, Dr. Braverman
enjoys producing and recording his own musical
compositions.
